Der Brief des jungen Legionärs Karel Kaiser stammt aus dem Jahre 1921. Er ist adressiert an die Eltern seiner Verlobten Františka Vacková, die seine Rückkehr von der Front nicht mehr erlebte. Er dankt der Familie für das Foto von Františka, dass er zur Erinnerung an seine Liebste erhalten hatte. Im Gegenzug fügt Karel seinem Brief ein Foto von ihm in Uniform bei, welches im Herbst des vorherigen Jahres 1920 aufgenommen worden war.</text>
