Die Fotografie zeigt František Janeček in der Uniform der Tschechoslowakischen Legionen in Russland. Das Porträt entstand vermutlich nach dem Krieg 1920.
František Janeček trat zu Beginn des Krieges wie sein Bruder Vojtěch zunächst der österreichischen Armee bei. Später schlossen sich beide der Tschechoslowakischen Legion in Russland an und kämpfte somit gegen die Mittelmächte, auf deren Seite der jüngere Bruder Vít eingesetzt war. Vojtěch und František kehrten erst 1920 wieder nach Hause zurück.

Fotografie zobrazuje Františka Janečka v uniformě československých legií v Rusku. Portrét byl zřejmě pořízen po konci války v roce 1920.
Podobně jako jeho bratr Vojtěch Janeček, narukoval také František Janeček nejprve do rakousko-uherské armády. Později se oba připojili k československým legiím v Rusku, které bojovaly proti Ústředním mocnostem. Tím pádem se ocitli na opačné straně konfliktu, než jejich mladší bratr Vít, který bojoval v řadách rakousko-uherské armády. Vojtěch s Františkem se vrátili domů teprve v roce 1920.

Die Fotografie zeigt die Brüder František und Vojtěch Janeček nach ihrer Rückkehr aus Russland 1920 vermutlich am Bahnhof in Budweis.
Beide waren zu Beginn des Krieges zunächst der österreichischen Armee beigetreten. Später schlossen sie sich der Tschechoslowakischen Legion in Russland an und kämpfte somit gegen die Mittelmächte, auf deren Seite der jüngere Bruder Vít eingesetzt war. Vojtěch und František kehrten erst 1920 wieder nach Hause zurück.
In der Audiodatei spricht Jitka Saková, die Tochter von Vít Janeček über diese Rückkehr:

Fotografie zobrazuje bratry Františka a Vojtěcha Janečkovy po jejich návratu z Ruska v roce 1920 zřejmě (s největší pravděpodobností) na nádraží v Českých Budějovicích.
Oba narukovali nejprve do rakousko-uherské armády, později se však připojili k československým legiím v Rusku, které bojovaly proti Ústředním mocnostem. Tím pádem se ocitli na opačné straně konfliktu, než jejich mladší bratr Vít, který bojoval v řadách rakousko-uherské armády. Vojtěch s Františkem se vrátili domů teprve v roce 1920.
Na zvukovém záznamu mluví Jitka Saková, dcera Víta Janečka o tomto návratu:

Die Fotografie stammt von einer Sitzung des Feldstabes des 5. Regiments im Dorf Stepanovo an der Kungur-Front (Region Perm) im Jahre 1919. Die Aufschrift auf der Rückseite gibt Auskunft über die abgebildeten Personen und den Gegenstand der Besprechung.
„5. pluk, Kungurský front, 1919. Polní štáb 5. pluku ve vsi Stepanovo. Posel přinsel hálšeni o nástupu rudých. Náměstek velitele pluku major Bejl, velitel 1. praporu kapitán Sokol, plukovní pobočník poručík Janeček, praporni pobočnik poručík Hvízdálek.“

Fotografie byla pořízena v roce 1919 při poradě polního štábu 5. pluku ve vsi Stěpanovo na Kungurském frontu (region Perm). Nápis na zadní straně podává svědectví o zobrazených osobách a o předmětu porady:

František a Vojtěch Janečkovi se vrátili z první světové války teprve v roce 1920. Nejprve narukovali do rakousko-uherské armády, ale později se připojili k československým legiím v Rusku.

Děkuje rodině za to, že mu poslala Fanynčinu fotografii, aby na svou milou mohl vzpomínat, a na oplátku Karel přikládá k dopisu svou fotografii v uniformě, pořízenou na podzim předchozího roku (1920).

Der Brief des jungen Legionärs Karel Kaiser stammt aus dem Jahre 1921. Er ist adressiert an die Eltern seiner Verlobten Františka Vacková, die seine Rückkehr von der Front nicht mehr erlebte. Er dankt der Familie für das Foto von Františka, dass er zur Erinnerung an seine Liebste erhalten hatte. Im Gegenzug fügt Karel seinem Brief ein Foto von ihm in Uniform bei, welches im Herbst des vorherigen Jahres 1920 aufgenommen worden war.

Dopis legionáře Karla Kaisera, který se navrátil domů z Ruska a sháněl se po své snoubence Františce Vackové. Od jejích rodičů se dozvěděl o Fanynčině vstupu do kláštera a o její smrti. Karel je touto zprávou velmi zarmoucen a prosí svoubenčiny rodiče o nějakou maličkost po Fanče na památku a také o adresu kláštera, do kterého vstoupila, aby mohl alespoň navštívit její hrob.

Brief des Legionärs Karel Kaiser, der aus Russland heimkehrte und seine Verlobte Františka Vacková sucht. Von ihren Eltern erfährt er, dass Františka ins Kloster eingetreten ist und dort verstarb. Karel ist erschüttert von dieser Nachricht und bittet die Eltern seiner Verlobten um ein kleines Erinnerungsstück an sie. Auch fragt er nach der Adresse des Klosters, in das sie eingetreten war, damit er wenigstens ihr Grab besuchen könne.
