Es muss somit nach dem Krieg aufgenommen worden sein. Auf der Rückseite hat einer seiner Söhne mit Schreibmaschine vermerkt: “Mein Vater - gestorben am 12. Mai 1933“ - handschriftlich korrigiert in 1932. Andreas Glaser starb kurz nach seinem 62. Geburtstag. --- Zarámovaný portrét Andrease Glasera není rovněž datován, ale zobrazuje již Andrease jako staršího muže. Pravděpodobně tedy pochází z poválečného období. Na zadní stranu poznamenal jeden z jeho synů strojovým písmem: „Můj otec - zemřelý 12. května 1933“ – datum bylo ručně změněno na rok 1932. Andreas Glaser zemřel krátce po svých 62. narozeninách. Záznam tedy pravděpodobně pochází opět z roku 1915, kdy Andreas Glaser vykonával vojenskou službu v Alsasku, přestože mu v té době bylo již 45 let. Během své vojenský služby byl také několikrát na dovolené doma v Obersilbergu. Die fortlaufenden Nummern Nr. 33 bis Nr. 48 auf den Feldpostkarten weisen darauf hin, dass es sich bei den "Ansichtskarten vom westlichen Kriegsschauplatz" um eine ganze Postkartenreihe handelt, die für die deutsche Front und Heimatfront betimmt sein musste. Womöglich sollten die Bilder einen Eindruck von der überlegenen deutschen Militärmacht, Ordnung und Disziplin im bereits eroberten und besetzten Land des "Erbfeindes" vermitteln. Fest steht: Die Rückseite der Feldpostkarten verrät, dass der deutsche Unternehmer Heinrich Knobloch aus Blasewitz bei Dresden für die "Auslieferung" verantwortlich zeichnet. Mit dem offenbar deutschland- wie frontweiten Vertrieb der beschreibbaren und per Post versendbaren Momentaufnahmen leistete er seinen Beitrag zur "hurrapatriotischen" Kriegspropaganda. Unzweifelhaft ist auch, dass man sich während des Ersten Weltkrieges in einem wohlhabenden Villenort wie Blasewitz von Krieg und Zerstörung, Gewalt und Tod sowie militärischer Besatzung, Hunger und Not sicher wähnen konnte.
