Imoberen Teil der Karte liest man: „Dem Kaiser, dem Vaterland und Dir gilt meine Liebe.“ Die Botschaft ist unmissverständlich: zuerst komme Kaiser und Vaterland, dem man den Treueeid geleistet hat, erst dann das Mädchen. Im Hintergrund der beiden Personen prangt an einer Wand das mit Lorbeerblättern umrandete Gemälde des Kaiser Wilhelm II. Er sieht genau zu, fast durchleuchtet er die Intimsphäre der beide mit seinem eisernen Blick. Für verwirrte und vom Liebeskummer geplagte Soldaten hat er im Feld keine Verwendung zum schnellen Sieg gegen Deutschlands Feinde. --- Lehce ohnutá pohlednice zobrazuje mladý pár v okamžiku loučení. V horní části pohlednice stojí nápis: „Císaři, vlasti a Tobě patří má láska.“ Toto poselství je nezaměnitelné: na prvním místě je císař a vlast, vůči kterým plní svou věrnost a až poté následuje děvče. V pozadí dvojice na zdi se skví, vavřínovým listem ohraničený obraz císaře Viléma II. Přesně pozoruje děj, skoro jako by železným pohledem prozařoval intimní sféru onoho milostného páru. Ve zmatených a žalem sužovaných vojácích nevidí císař prostředek použitelný k rychlému poražení nepřátel Německa na bojišti. Während des Krieges waren die Frauen für Haushalt, Kindererziehung oder auch mit Geld verdienen reichlich beschäftigt. Was auch der kleine Vers unten nicht verneint. Solche Postkarten dienten sicherlich dazu, die kriegstraumatisierten Soldaten auf andere Gedanken zu bringen. --- Posezení s milou u kávy zažene zármutek a starosti z války – alespoň na první pohled. Zde je zobrazen uniformovaný muž, který si nechává nalévat šálek kávy od své milované. „U Tebe“ doma je přeci ještě nejkrásněji – tímto pohlednice zobrazuje stereotypní rozdělení povinností mezi muži a ženami. Během války byly ženy bohatě zaměstnány domácností, výchovu dětí, jakož také i vyděláváním peněz, což nepopírá dole psaný krátký verš. Takovéto pohlednice jistě sloužily k tomu, aby přivedly z války traumatizované vojáky na jiné myšlenky. Beschäftigt man sich näher mit dieser Postkarte, so entdeckt man in der unteren Hälfte ein Gedicht. Der Text des Gedichts handelt von Soldatengräbern und zwar fern der Heimat in Übersee, womit wohl Seemannsgräber der deutschen Marine gemeint sind. Unter Kaiser Wilhelm II wurde die deutsche Flotte stark aufgerüstet, um England besiegen zu können. Des Weiteren wird in dem Gedicht den gefallenen Helden mit allen Ehren für ihren Einsatz und Heldenmut gedankt. --- Na této pohlednici, která byla pravděpodobně vydána německým vojskem, jsou zobrazeny kříže ve vyprahlé pustině. Zabýváme-li se blíže touto pohlednicí, nalezneme ve spodní části báseň. Text básně pojednává o hrobech vojáků daleko od domova v zámoří. Tím jsou nejspíše myšleny hroby příslušníků německého námořnictva. Za vlády Viléma II. byla německá flotila silně vyzbrojena za účelem poražení Anglie. Báseň slouží k poděkování a vzdání cti padlým hrdinům za jejich nasazení a odvahu. Das große Selbstbewusstsein des Deutschen Reiches mit der Vorstellung von der Beherrschung der Welt spiegeln sich in dieser Propagandapostkarte wieder. --- Na této pohlednici je zobrazena mladá slečna v pruské vojenské uniformě s pruskou vojenskou helmou a šavlí. Její pohled se upírá na mapu světa, kterou svírá ve svých rukou. Nápis na pohlednici: “Slečna poručík – My už svět přerozdělíme“. Myšlenka, kterou tato pohlednice má zprostředkovat, je jednoznačná: V době vypuknutí války si je Německo svou výhrou jisté, je si dokonce jisté i tím, že do Vánoc 1915 válka skončí. Tato propagandistická pohlednice odráží velké sebevědomí Německé říše spolu s představou ovládnutí světa. Darunter steht ein kleiner Spruch: „ Mag Neid und Groll rings sprühen, das Deutsche Reich wird blühen, ich bin ein Deutscher, will ein Deutscher sein“. Des weiteren ist ein Soldat mit Pickelhaube und der deutschen Flagge abgebildet. Absicht und Aussage sind klar, das Kaiserreich unter Wilhelm II. sieht sich mit Gewissheit schon als Sieger vom Schlachtfeld marschieren. Der Groll rings um Deutschland bezieht sich in spöttischer Art und Weise auf die Alliierten insbesondere den Erbfeind Frankreich. Deutschland ist und war zu dieser Zeit auch eine führende Militär- und Industrienation mit der schwer Schritt zu halten war. Mit einem schnellen Sieg sollte das Prestige des Reichs gesteigert werden. --- Nápis „Já jsem Němec“ se vyjímá v horní části této propagandistické pohlednice z první světové války. Pod ním stojí krátký výrok: „Závist a zášť srší všude kolem, však Německá říše vzkvétat bude, já jsem Němec a Němcem být i chci“. Dále je zde vyobrazen voják s pruskou přilbou a německou vlajkou. Záměr a účel této pohlednice jsou zcela zřejmé, císařství pod vládou Viléma II. vidí samo sebe na vítězném pochodu z bojiště. Metafora zášti obklopující Německo posměšným způsobem ukazuje na spojenecké síly, především na úhlavního nepřítele Francii. S Německem, které bylo v této době vedoucím národem v oblasti armády a průmyslu, bylo těžké držet krok. Rychlé vítězství mělo Německému císařství zajistit především zvýšení prestiže. Tage"<br />Pohlednice "Záloha má ještě … dní" Subject The topic of the resource Front Korrespondenz Description An account of the resource Die farbigen Postkarten waren der Grund dafür, dass Frau Theresie Kern aus Bischofsmais (Lkr. Regen) ihre Erbstücke aus der Zeit des Ersten Weltkrieges noch nicht entsorgt hatte. Sie seien künstlerisch so schön, dass sie sie gelegentlich hervorholt, um sie sich anzuschauen. Die Sammlung stammt von ihrem Schwiegervater Joseph Preis, der im Ersten Weltkrieg kämpfte und in französische Kriegsgefangenschaft kam. Sie enthält neben schwarz-weißen Postkarten auch glatte Farbdrucke sowie Karten, die im Tiefdruckverfahren hergestellt wurden, so auch diese. Auf der Postkarte kann man erkennen, welche Effekte ein solches Tiefdruckverfahren erzielt: Einzelne Teile des Bildes sind durch Wölbungen hervorgehoben, die mit Farbe ausgefüllt sind. In diesem Fall sind es die schwarzen und goldenen Banner an den Lanzen, die beiden Fahnen, die Kanonen sowie die Waffen und Rüstung darunter. Die Postkarte trägt den Schriftzug „Reserve hat noch … Tage“. Hier wurden im Satz drei ovale, gold umrandete Löcher gelassen, um Ziffernblätter für die Anzeige der Tage einfügen zu können. Zudem befindet sich in der Mitte der Karte ein Kreis, um den Stempel der jeweiligen Kompanie ergänzen zu können. --- V osobním archivu paní Theresie Kernové z obce Bischofsmais (okres Regen) se nachází několik kousků z období první světové války. Pohlednice z první světové války jsou prý natolik krásné, že si je občas vyndá k prohlížení. To ji prý vedlo k tomu, že se rozhodla zděděné předměty z první světové války zatím nevyhodit. Sbírka pochází od jejího tchána Josefa Preise, který bojoval v první světové válce a který se dostal do francouzského válečného zajetí. Kromě černobílých pohlednic obsahuje sbírka také hladké barevné tisky a pohlednice vyrobené metodou hlubotisku. Na příkladu této pohlednice lze vidět, jakých výsledků bylo možné metodou hlubotisku dosáhnout: jednotlivé části obrazu jsou zvýrazněny klenutími, která jsou vyplněna barvami. V tomto případě jsou to černé a zlaté prapory na kopích, dvě vlajky, děla, zbraně a brnění nacházející se pod nimi. Pohlednice nese nápis „Záloha má ještě … dní“. Zde byly ponechány tři zlatě lemované oválné dírky pro připevnění ciferníků sloužících k zaznamenávání počtu zbývajících dní. Besonders schön ist der kleine Vers am rechten Bildrand. Er handelt von einem Wiedersehen und dem Trennungsschmerz des abgebildeten Pärchens. Die heimische Idylle im Sonnenuntergang auf der Blumenwiese ist nur zu schön um wahr zu sein. Noch ein tiefer Blick in die Augen seiner Geliebten, dann muss der junge Soldat ins Feld, während seine Frau in der fernen Heimat auf seine baldige Rückkehr hofft. Die Aussage dieser Karte lässt sich mit Sicherheit auf viele Männer und Frauen in Deutschland zur Zeit des Ersten Weltkriegs übertragen. --- „Věrná láska“ – tak zní popisek na této pohlednici. Velmi hezký je malý verš na pravém okraji obrazu. Pojednává o znovu shledání a bolesti z odloučení vyobrazeného páru. Domácká idyla při západu slunce na rozkvetlé louce je až moc krásná na to, aby byla pravdou. Poslední hluboký pohled do očí jeho milované, poté musí mladý voják na bojiště, zatímco jeho žena v dalekém domově doufá v jeho brzký návrat. Výpověď této pohlednice se dá zajisté převést na mnoho mužů a žen v Německu za dob první světové války.
