Die Mehrheit der Soldaten kehrten nach 1920 in ihre Heimat zurück. Später wurde auf dem Schönberger Hausberg, dem Kadernberg ein Gedenkstein errichtet. Auf dem Denkmal ist geschrieben: „Zur Erinnerung auf die guten Tage in Schönberg. Die Kameraden im Vereinslazarett 1915.“ Das Foto, auf dem das Denkmal zu sehen ist, hat Sepp Sager 1991 aufgenommen. --- V roce 1915 se v Schönbergu nacházel lazaret, ve kterém byli ubytováni vojáci z Chotěbuze. Po roce 1920 se většina z nich vrátila zpět do své vlasti. Později byl na schönberském kopci, Kadernbergu, vztyčen pamětní kámen. Na památníku je napsáno: „Pro vzpomínku na dobré časy v Schönbergu. Kamarádi z lazaretu 1915.“ Fotografii, na které je zachycen památník, pořídil Sepp Sager v roce 1991.
