Freyung-Grafenau) besitzt einige Erinnerungsstücke an ihren Onkel Franz Waldhauser, den Bruder ihrer Mutter, der im Ersten Weltkrieg kämpfte. Sie wusste viel über ihre Familie und auch den Menschen Josef Waldhauser und seine Lebensumstände zu erzählen, angefangen von seiner schulischen Ausbildung bis hin zu seinem Tode im Lazarett in der Kriegsgefangenschaft. Ihren Bericht können Sie in mehreren Teilen nachhören: <a href="/omeka/items/show/514"> Interview Teil 1-3 </a>, <a href="/omeka/items/show/515"> Interview Teil 4-5.</a> . Dieser braune Lederschuh für den rechten Fuß gehörte vermutlich der Mutter von Frau Scholz und hat damit ein erstaunliches Alter von über 100 Jahren. Die Sohle ist aus Metall gefertigt und an den ledernen Teil genietet und genagelt. Er ist ohne Schnürbänder aber gut erhalten. Lediglich die Sohle ist angerostet. --- V rodinném archivu Marie Scholzové z Riedlhütte (okres Freyung-Grafenau) se nachází několik vzpomínkových předmětů od jejího strýce Franze Waldhausera, bratra její matky, který bojoval v první světové válce. Marie Scholzová vypráví mnoho o své rodině, stejně jako o osobě Josefa Waldhausera a jeho životních okolnostech, počínaje jeho školním vzděláním až po jeho smrt v lazaretu ve válečném zajetí. Poslechnout si její vyprávění je možné v audionahrávce: <a href="/omeka/items/show/514">Rozhovor část 1-3 </a>, <a href="/omeka/items/show/514">Rozhovor část</a><a href="/omeka/items/show/515"> 4-5.</a> Tato již více jak 100 let stará hnědá bota na pravou nohu patřila zřejmě matce paní Scholzové. Podrážka vyrobená z kovu je připevněna nýty a hřebíky na koženou část. Tkaničky se nedochovaly, bota je však i přes své stáří v dobrém stavu. Pouze podrážka je narezlá.
