Das Porträt entstand vermutlich nach dem Krieg 1920. František Janeček trat zu Beginn des Krieges wie sein Bruder Vojtěch zunächst der österreichischen Armee bei. Später schlossen sich beide der Tschechoslowakischen Legion in Russland an und kämpfte somit gegen die Mittelmächte, auf deren Seite der jüngere Bruder Vít eingesetzt war. Portrét byl zřejmě pořízen po konci války v roce 1920. Podobně jako jeho bratr Vojtěch Janeček, narukoval také František Janeček nejprve do rakousko-uherské armády. Tím pádem se ocitli na opačné straně konfliktu, než jejich mladší bratr Vít, který bojoval v řadách rakousko-uherské armády. Zu den Überbleibseln aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg und deren Besitzern hat er viele Informationen und kann einige Geschichten erzählen. In dem Interview erzählt er von seiner Tätigkeit. Auf der Gedenktafel der Gemeinde Tittling und Witzmannsberg für die Gefallenen und Vermissten der Gemeinde zwischen 1914 und 1918 sind 99 ovale schwarz-weiß Fotografien als Collage zusammengestellt. Die Tafel ist von Lorbeerkränzen umgeben und an beiden Seiten oben hängen Eiserne Kreuze als Orden stellvertretend für alle Gefallenen. --- Herbert Zauhar je dobrovolný vlastivědný badatel a bývalý starosta Tittlingu, který již 10 let sbírá historické dokumenty a předměty ze své obce. O pozůstalostech z první světové války a jejich majitelích ví mnoho a zná také několik s nimi spojených příběhů (podobně jako mnozí další vlastivědní badatelé v Bavorsku). V rozhovoru se Herbert Zauhar zmiňuje o své činnosti dobrovolného vlastivědného badatele. Na pamětní desce obce Tittling a Witzmannsberg, která připomíná padlé a pohřešované mezi lety 1914-1918 je vystaveno 99 oválných uměleckých černobílých fotografií. Pod každou fotografií je vytištěno křestní jméno a příjmení. Nápisy jsou zahnuté do oblouku a kopírují tak oválný tvar fotografií. Tabule je obklopena vavřínovými věnci, na obou stranách nahoře visí Železné kříže, které představují vyznamenání všech padlých. Juni 1898 in Moldautein (Týn nad Vltavou) geboren. Er verließ das Gymnasium, um in die österreichische Armee einzurücken. Dort wurde er an der italienischen Front eingesetzt. Die Fotografie zeigt eine Frontstellung an der Isonzo-Front. Die Rückseite ist beschriftet: „Erinnerung an den Mai und Juni 1917. Isonzo-Front (Brestovica-XX)“, sowie „Soča“ (slowenischer Name des Flusses Isonzo). Vít Janeček wurde bei einem Angriff der italienischen Armee auf die österreichischen Schützengräben schwer verwundet. Ein italienischer Soldat zerschlug mit einem Kolbenschlag seinen Kiefer. Das Abitur konnte er mit Verspätung im ersten Nachkriegsjahr ablegen. In den beiden Interviewausschnitten erzählt sie über ihren Vater: „Am meisten schätze ich die Fotografie, auf der mein Vater, Vít Janeček in einem Schützengraben an der italienischen Front, Isonzo – San Gabriele ist, sie ist vermutlich aus dem Jahr 16 bis 17 (oder 17). Ansonsten ist es in der Tat ein Dokument, von denen es von der italienischen Front wohl nicht sehr viele gibt.“ "Ich kann dazu noch sagen, dass mein Vater nicht viel darüber sprach, wie es damals, als ich noch jung war, üblich war. Do řad rakousko-uherské narukoval přímo ze školních lavic, byl nasazen na italské frontě. Fotografie zobrazuje postavení na frontové linii na řece Soče. Na zadní straně stojí: „Vzpomínka na květen a červen 1917. Isonzo – Fronta (Brestovica – X Jama)“, dále také „Soča“. Při útoku italské armády na rakousko-uherské zákopy byl Vít Janeček těžce raněn, italský voják mu úderem pažbou rozbil čelist. Maturitu složil se zpožděním v prvním poválečném roce. V obou nahrávkách vypráví o svém otci: „Nejvíce si cením fotografie, kde je můj otec Vít Janeček v zákopu na italské frontě, Isonzo - San Gabriele, je to asi z roku 16 až 17 (nebo 17). Jinak je to opravdu dokument, kterých asi opravdu moc není z té italské fronty.“ „No ještě můžu říci, že otec o tom moc nemluvil, jak to bylo v tehdejší době, když já jsem byla mladá.
