Sie waren zunächst in die österreichische Armee eingerückt und schlossen sich später der Tschechoslowakischen Legion in Russland an. Die Fotografie zeigt einen Teil der Familie Janeček bei der Rückkehr der Brüder am Bahnhof in Budweis 1920. Zu sehen sind die Eltern Františka und František Janeček, Vojtěch Janeček in der Uniform der Legionäre sowie der jüngste Bruder Jan Janeček. In der Audiodatei spricht Jitka Saková, die Tochter von Vít Janeček über diese Rückkehr: --- František a Vojtěch Janečkovi se vrátili z první světové války teprve v roce 1920. Regiments im Dorf Stepanovo an der Kungur-Front (Region Perm) im Jahre 1919. Die Aufschrift auf der Rückseite gibt Auskunft über die abgebildeten Personen und den Gegenstand der Besprechung. „5. pluk, Kungurský front, 1919. Polní štáb 5. pluku ve vsi Stepanovo. Posel přinsel hálšeni o nástupu rudých. Náměstek velitele pluku major Bejl, velitel 1. praporu kapitán Sokol, plukovní pobočník poručík Janeček, praporni pobočnik poručík Hvízdálek.“ Vojtěch Janeček trat zu Beginn des Krieges zunächst der österreichischen Armee bei. Später schloss er sich wie auch sein Bruder František der Tschechoslowakischen Legion in Russland an und kämpfte somit gegen die Mittelmächte, auf deren Seite auch der jüngere Bruder Vít eingesetzt war. Vojtěch und František kehrten erst 1920 wieder nach Hause zurück. In der Audiodatei spricht Jitka Saková, die Tochter von Vít Janeček über ihren Onkel Vojtěch in Russland. --- Fotografie byla pořízena v roce 1919 při poradě polního štábu 5. pluku ve vsi Stěpanovo na Kungurském frontu (region Perm). Nápis na zadní straně podává svědectví o zobrazených osobách a o předmětu porady: „5. pluk, Kungurský front, 1919. Polní štáb 5. pluku ve vsi Stepanovo. Posel přinsel hálšeni o nástupu rudých. Tím pádem se ocitl na opačné straně konfliktu, než jeho mladší bratr Vít, který bojoval v řadách rakousko-uherské armády. Vojtěch s Františkem se vrátili domů teprve v roce 1920. Die Mehrheit der Soldaten kehrten nach 1920 in ihre Heimat zurück. Später wurde auf dem Schönberger Hausberg, dem Kadernberg ein Gedenkstein errichtet. Auf dem Denkmal ist geschrieben: „Zur Erinnerung auf die guten Tage in Schönberg. Die Kameraden im Vereinslazarett 1915.“ Das Foto, auf dem das Denkmal zu sehen ist, hat Sepp Sager 1991 aufgenommen. --- V roce 1915 se v Schönbergu nacházel lazaret, ve kterém byli ubytováni vojáci z Chotěbuze. Po roce 1920 se většina z nich vrátila zpět do své vlasti. Později byl na schönberském kopci, Kadernbergu, vztyčen pamětní kámen. Na památníku je napsáno: „Pro vzpomínku na dobré časy v Schönbergu. Kamarádi z lazaretu 1915.“ Fotografii, na které je zachycen památník, pořídil Sepp Sager v roce 1991. Aus den Beschriftungen lässt sich erkennen, dass es sich um die Vogesen im Jahr 1915 handeln muss. Die Beschreibung neben dem Foto lautet: „Ausmarsch zum 1. Gefecht der Feldwache Rain; Heil Sieg!“ Unter dem Foto ist zu lesen: „bisherige Hochvogesen-Gefechte“. Danach folgt die Auflistung der Gefechte mit der entsprechenden Zeitangabe: „Obersengern 2.3.15; Altmattkopf 19.2.; ??? 21.2.; Röspel 2. u. 3.; Reichsackerkopf 6-9.3.; Klängle 11. 3.“ Die Fotografie wurde nicht als Feldpost versandt, die Rückseite ist leer. Der Besitzer Anton Reus hat sie offenbar verwendet, um die überstandenen Gefechte zu notieren. --- Fotografie ukazuje vojáky, kteří pochodují zimní krajinou. Z popisků lze usoudit, že se jedná o Vogézy v roce 1915. Popisek vedle fotky zní: „Pochod k prvnímu boji polní hlídky Rain. Sláva vítězství!“. Pod fotografií stojí: „dosavadní boje ve Vogézech“. Poté následuje výčet bojů s odpovídajícím datem: „Obersengern 2.3.15; Altmattkopf 19.2.; ??? 21.2.; Röspel 2. u. 3.; Reichsackerkopf 6-9.3.; Klängle 11. 3.“ Tato fotografie nebyla odeslána poštou, neboť je zadní strana prázdná. Její vlastník, Anton Reus, jí zřejmě využil k poznamenání bitev, které přestál.
