Zu den Überbleibseln aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg und deren Besitzern hat er viele Informationen und kann einige Geschichten erzählen. In dem Interview erzählt er von seiner Tätigkeit. Unter anderem besitzt er eine große Sammlung von Sterbebildern. Das Sterbebild von Alois Feldmeier - „Oekonomensohn von Eppendorf“ - nennt auf der linken Seite das Todesdatum 21. Dezember 1916, die Todesursache „Lungenentzündung“ und den Todesort, „im Feld-Spital“. Darunter befinden sich gute Wünsche und ein Gedicht in Reinform. Oben auf der Seite ist das Eiserne Kreuz abgedruckt, in ihm die kaiserliche Krone, in der Mitte des Kreuzes das Initial W für Wilhelm und unten im Kreuz die Jahreszahl 1914 für den Kriegsausbruch. Auf der rechten Seite posiert der Verstorbene in voller Uniform und Soldatenmütze. In der rechten Hand hält er eine Lanze, in der linken Hand einen Strauss Blumen, sein Gewehr ist hinter seiner linken Schulter an seinen Rucksack angelehnt. Die schwarz-weiße Fotografie ist vermutlich eine Studioaufnahme mit einem Wald als Hintergrundbild. --- Herbert Zauhar je dobrovolný vlastivědný badatel a bývalý starosta Tittlingu, který již 10 let sbírá historické dokumenty a předměty ze své obce. O pozůstalostech z první světové války a jejich majitelích ví mnoho a zná také několik s nimi spojených příběhů (podobně jako mnozí další vlastivědní badatelé v Bavorsku). V rozhovoru se Herbert Zauhar zmiňuje o své činnosti dobrovolného vlastivědného badatele. Mimo jiné vlastní velkou sbírku nekrologů místních vojáků padlých za první světové války. Nekrolog Aloise Feldmeiera – „Syn ekonoma z Eppendorfu“ na levé straně popsaný datem úmrtí 21. prosinec 1916, důvod úmrtí „zápal plic“ a místo úmrtí „polní špitál“. Níže se nachází přání věčného klidu, výzva ke vzpomínce na zemřelého a krátká báseň. Nahoře na levé straně je otištěn Železný kříž, v něm císařská koruna, uprostřed kříže W. jako Willhelm a dole v kříži 1914, rok vypuknutí války. Na pravé straně je otištěna fotografie Aloise Feldmeiera v uniformě a vojenské čepici. V pravé ruce drží kopí, v levé ruce kytici květin, jeho zbraň je za levým ramenem opřena o jeho batoh. Černobílá fotografie je zřejmě pořízena v ateliéru s pozadím s motivem lesa. Na památné kartičce se nachází rovněž zmínka o tom, že pomník byl postaven podle plánu akademického sochaře Václava Suchomela, zhotoven sochařem Karlem Stuchlíkem na náklady dobrodinců a římovského děkana Jaroslava Paulusa. Kartičku věnoval prostějovský farář Karel Dostál Lutinov a vyhotovena byla ve Steinbrenerově tiskárně ve Vimperku. --- Erinnerungskärtchen an die Einweihung des Denkmals für die gefallenen Soldaten in Římov (Rimau) bei Budweis vom 12. 10. 1919. Es enthält ein kurzes Gebet an die Jungfrau Maria der Schmerzen und eine Auflistung der gefallenen Soldaten aus Římov. Auf der Erinnerungskarte findet sich zudem der Hinweis, dass das Denkmal nach dem Plan des akademischen Bildhauers Václav Suchomel gebaut und fertiggestellt von dem Bildhauer Karel Stuchlík aus Mitteln des Wohltäters und Rimauer Dekans Jaroslav Paulus. Das Kärtchen stiftete der Pfarrer Karel Dostál Lutinov aus Prostějov und produziert wurde es in der Steinbrener-Druckerei in Winterberg.
