Das Porträtfoto zeigt ihn als Abiturienten 1919. \r\n\r\nIn der Audiodatei spricht Jitka Saková, die Tochter von Vít Janeček über das Abiturfoto ihres Vaters. \r\n\r\nIn der deutschen Übersetzung etwa: „Mein Vater Vít Janeček, der den Schulbank Verließ, um direkt in den Krieg zu marschieren, kämpfte an der italienischen Front, wo er auch schwer verwundet wurde. Ein italienischer Soldat zermahlte ihn mit einem Kolbenschlag den Unterkiefer.“\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nNejmladší bratr z rodiny Janečkových, Vít Janeček, narozen 14. června 1898 v Týně nad Vltavou, navštěvoval gymnázium v Českých Budějovicích. Školní lavice opustil, aby se v řadách rakousko-uherské armády zúčastnil bojů 1. světové války, maturitu dokončil po válce.
