Das beigefügte Inhaltsverzeichnis - angefertigt von Josef Pils bei Übergabe des Koffers - verzeichnet sämtliche Stücke (siehe Dokument in diesem Datensatz). Drei der vier Brüder der Familie Janeček kämpften im Ersten Weltkrieg: František, Vojtěch und Vít wurden zunächst in die österreichische Armee eingezogen. Tři ze čtyř bratrů Janečkových bojovali v první světové válce: František, Vojtěch a Vít nejprve narukovali do rakousko-uherské armády. Vít bojoval v řadách 91. pluku na italské frontě, nicméně František a Vojtěch později přeběhli k československým legiím v Rusku a vrátili se teprve v roce 1920 domů.
