DIN A0) mit genauer Markierung mittels roter Linie des Frontverlaufes im Westen im Jahr 1916 entlang der Kampfgebiete Bapaume, Albert, Amiens, Péronne, Roye und Noyon.\r\nMaßstab 1:150000\r\n\r\nÜber vier Jahre lang, von Anfang August 1914 bis Anfang/Mitte November 1918, zog sich die Westfront quer durch das Land des damals sogenannten „Erbfeindes“: Vom Ärmelkanal in Nordfrankreich und an der südwestlichsten Spitze Belgiens bis an die Schweizer Alpen besaß sie eine Gesamtlänge von 750 Kilometern.\r\n\r\nDie Teilkarte befand sich im Besitz von Gregor Reif, dem Großvater mütterlicherseits von Karl Hackl. Gregor Reif diente als Soldat an der Westfront. Die Teilkarte ist mit der fortlaufenden Nummer 34 versehen: Sie zeigt den Frontverlauf in der Somme-Ebene in der nordfranzösischen Region der Picardie. Gregor Reif war an der Somme-Schlacht als eine der Schlüsselschlachten des Ersten Weltkrieges an vorderster Front mit beteiligt.\r\nVon Juni/Juli bis Mitte November 1916 tobte dort 141 Tage lang eine der größten Schlachten des Ersten Weltkrieges zwischen den französischen und britischen Armeen einerseits und den deutschen Truppen andererseits ohne nennenswerte Gebietsgewinne für die eine oder andere Seite. Nach Monaten des Gefechtes unter Dauerbeschuss mit Granaten und Bomben durch die Artillerien wurde die Schlacht Mitte November 1916 ohne klares militärisches Ergebnis abgebrochen. Die Zahl der Opfer, Verletzten und Verwundeten belief sich insgesamt auf über eine Millionen Soldaten. Damit hatten die kriegführenden imperialen Mächte Frankreich, England und Deutschland zusammen mit Abstand die größten menschlichen Verluste seit dem Kriegsbeginn vom August 1914 zu verzeichnen. Die Somme-Schlacht gilt als das „britische Verdun“, und, aus Sicht eines deutschen Offiziers im Somme-Feldzug, als „das Schlammgrab der deutschen Feldarmee“. Der Historiker Ben Dupré fasst zusammen: „Am Ende der Somme-Offensive waren die alleierten Streitkräfte im Durchschnitt ungefähr zehn Kilometer an der Front vorgerückt und nahmen eine Stellung ein, die sich strategisch kaum von jener unterschied, die sie 20 Wochen zuvor innegehabt hatten“. Vom Rubikon zur Berliner Mauer, Oxford 2008, S. 161)\r\n\r\nOtto Dankesreiter, Vater von Ehrenfried Dankesreiter aus Hinterschmiding-Herzogsreuth, Landkreis Freyung-Grafenau, war am 15.04.1915 mit 18 und ein halb Jahren als Kriegsfreiwilliger eingerückt. Als Kanonier im 7. Juni 1898 in Moldautein (Týn nad Vltavou) geboren. Er verließ das Gymnasium, um in die österreichische Armee einzurücken und kämpfte an der italienischen Front. \r\n\r\nAls Erinnerung an seine Kriegserfahrung schenkte er seinem Sohn Jiří das wohl berühmteste Buch, das von der Not der jungen Männer im Krieg berichtet - „Im Westen nichts Neues“ von Erich Maria Remarque. Die Widmung lautet: „Vzpomínka Jiříkovi od starého kamaráda - táty, který mnoho podobného zažil na italské frontě 1916-1917. Isonzo San Gabriele.“ / „Erinnerung für Jiřík von dem alten Kameraden – dem Vater, der viel Ähnliches an der italienischen Front 1916-1917 erlebte. Isonzo San Gabriele.“\r\n\r\nIn den beiden Interviewausschnitten erzählt Jitka Saková über ihren Vater:\r\n\r\n„Am meisten schätze ich die Fotografie, auf der mein Vater, Vít Janeček in einem Schützengraben an der italienischen Front, Isonzo – San Gabriele ist, sie ist vermutlich aus dem Jahr 16 bis 17 (oder 17). Ansonsten ist es in der Tat ein Dokument, von denen es von der italienischen Front wohl nicht sehr viele gibt.“\r\n\r\n\"Ich kann dazu noch sagen, dass mein Vater nicht viel darüber sprach, wie es damals, als ich noch jung war, üblich war. Es war üblich, dass die Eltern den Kindern ganz wenig über ihre Vergangenheit erzählten.“\r\n\r\n---\r\n\r\nNejmladší bratr z rodiny Janečkových, Vít Janeček, narozen 14. června 1898 v Týně nad Vltavou. Do řad rakousko-uherské armády narukoval přímo ze školních lavic, byl nasazen na italské frontě.\r\n\r\nJako vzpomínku na své válečné působení věnoval svému synovi Jiřímu zřejmě nejznámější knihu, která pojednává o utrpení mladých mužů v první světové válce – „Na západní frontě klid“ od Ericha Marii Remarqua. Věnování zní: „Vzpomínka Jiříkovi od starého kamaráda - táty, který mnoho podobného zažil na italské frontě 1916-1917. Isonzo San Gabriele.“\r\n\r\nV obou nahrávkách vypráví Jitka Saková o svém otci:\r\n\r\n„Nejvíce si cením fotografie, kde je můj otec, Vít Janeček v zákopu na italské frontě, Isonzo - San Gabriele, je to asi z roku 16 až 17 (nebo 17). Jinak je to opravdu dokument, kterých asi opravdu moc není z té italské fronty.“\r\n\r\n„No ještě můžu říci, že otec o tom moc nemluvil, jak to bylo v tehdejší době, když já jsem byla mladá.
